Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur:  Student’s union of National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research [NIRTAR] Olatpur celebrated its 21st annual day observance in a function held in institute conference hall on Friday evening. 

Professor Dr Prasant Kumar Sahoo , vice chancellor Utkal university attended as chief guest, Dr Sitaram Mohapatra as chief speaker, Dr Sukadev Nayak, former NIRTAR director Dr Sanjay Das and present director Dr Dharmendra Pradhan took part  in this  function. Speaking on the occasion attending guests put emphasis after completing the course the passed out students, to be duty conscious, sincere, hard working and accountability during carrier building.

Student’s union president Biswajit Satapathy read out the annual report and submitted a 13 point charter of demands and discussed the several problems affecting students I recent times , on replay director Dr Pradhan assured the students union to look in to the matter urgently and after consulting union social justice department necessary action would be taken very soon. A colorful cultural programme was followed after the annual function meeting.
