Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Varanasi
Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visited Varanasi today. He laid the Foundation Stone of the Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre, and the Centenary Super Speciality Hospital at BHU. 

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the role of technology in medical science is increasing and the Union Government is moving towards providing best medical facilities in India. 

He said the need of the hour is to provide quality and affordable healthcare to the people of India, especially the poor. 

The Prime Minister said that he has faith in the strength of 125 crore Indians. He said the people of India are selfless, and the blessings of the people are like the blessings of Almighty. 

He urged the youth to move towards online banking. 

The Prime Minister visited the Kabir Nagar locality in Varanasi, to see the progress made in underground cabling and heritage lighting under the IPDS and HRIDAY schemes. He interacted with students there. 

Later, at the DLW Ground, the Prime Minister laid the Foundation Stone for the ESIC Super Speciality Hospital. He also inaugurated the new Trade Facilitation Centre and Crafts Museum.
