Bhubaneswar to have 3 new housing projects

Bhubaneswar: Works and housing minister AU Singh Deo on Wednesday laid the foundation stones of three housing projects of the Orissa State Housing Board

(OSHB) at Sahid Nagar here.

The Rs 9 crore Park Enclave will have 32 flats with 22 having 3-bedroom facility and 10 others with two-bedroom facility. Similarly, Radhakrishna Enclave that would come up at Unit-VI, has an estimated cost of Rs 6 crore.

The enclave will have 32 flats with 12 three-bedroom facility and 20 with two-bedroom facility.

The Ambedkar Enclave would come up at Unit-VI, the project costing Rs 9 crore and having 36 flats - 24 three-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom.

All the three projects are meant for both Higher Income Group (HIG) and Medium Income Group (MIG) people.

Besides, these projects will be cheaper in comparison to any other projects.

There were two bidders for the projects, and National Builders was selected, as it was the lowest one.

According to Basudev Bahinipati, commissioner-cum-secretary, housing, the Board expects an early completion of these projects.

Among others, OSHB chairman Sanjaya Das Burma and commissioner-cum-secretary housing and urban development Arun Panda were present on the occasion.
