Jajpur: Supporters Vistapana Virodhi Jana Mancha (VVJM) on Thursday drove away workers at Tata steel project site at the Kalinga Nagar industrial area on Thursday. Sources say nearly eight workers, who reached the site to begin work to level the ground when they were confronted by about 50 supporters of the Vistapana Virodhi Jana Mancha (VVJM).
The agitators have set fired in four motorcycles and one dumpher and dispersed when the police reached the spot. One woman injured and admitted in Dangadi Hospital for treatment. The IIC is camping in the area with 2 platoons of police (about 66 personnel).
