Orissa sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik's highest Sand-Taj Mahal placed in Limca book of World record

Report by Orissadiary correspondent; Puri: After returning with gold medal from Moscow Sudarsan got another success in his career. India's world champion sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik from Orissa created World record by recreating highest sand Taj Mahal, the famous monument, in India & around the World. Today Pattnaik got the World record certificate from the editor Vijaya Ghose of Limca book of records.

Pattnaik has recreated 39 Taj Mahal's in different place in India and abroad like Doha, USA, Belgium, Berlin, Moscow etc. His last Taj was recreated in Moscow which was also highly appreciated by Govt of Moscow. He was also created a black Taj Mahal in front of Original white Taj Mahal at Agra on the occasion of Taj Mohatsav which was very much popular.

I am very much admiring about the beauty of the 17th century's famous monument Taj Mahal. So I have dream to create sand Taj at different places to attract people from all over the world and invite Taj lovers to see the original taj at India. I am very happy to get this recognition from Limca book Said Sudarsan.

Recently pattnaik got a gold medal as people choice prize at 2nd Moscow World sand sculpture championship. Last year he got the people of the year award by Limca book of records. So far he has represented India in 40 countries around the World and won many awards.
