Report by Orissadiary correspondent; Bhubaneswar: Orissa tourism development corporation (OTDC) on Friday launched houseboat facility at Chilka lake. It was inaugurated by state tourism minister Debi Prasad Mishra. The posh houseboat has been dubbed as Latika.

The houseboat is in no way different from a plush hotel room. The houseboat has two well furnished spacious rooms with AC facility, kitchen and decorative drawing room. A tourist has to shell out Rs 5,000 per night to avail the luxury voyage in Chilka.
