Report by Orissadiary correspondent; New Delhi: Orissa Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare visited Orissa Pavilion India International Trade Fair (IITF) at New Delhi on Saturday. Shri Bhandare went round the Pavilion and interacted with the exhibitors participated in the Fair regarding their creative works. He appreciated the display of various sectors including Govt. & Corporate in the pavilion.
He showed keen interest on exhibits of Industries, ORMAS & Agriculture Departments. H. E. the Governor Shri Bhandare meticulously observed the intricate designs of Silver Filigree and tie & dye materials during his visit. Thereafter His Excellency visited Orissa Food Stall operated by the Orissa Tourism Development Corporation at Food Plaza under the banner "Bharat ka Khana". He appreciated the variety of preparations of oriya cuisine and arrangements to serve the "Oriya Thali" to the people. H.E. was quite impressed with the overall display of Orissan art & culture in Orissa Pavilion.The Resident Commissioner, Jt. Director, Inf. & P.R. and other senior officers of the State Govt. and corporate sectors were present during the visit of H.E. the Governor of Orissa.
