Berhampur: Books are real friends n best medicine for everyone who likes or dislikes it, says Nikhilanada Panigrahy, the renowned educationist inagurating 11th Ganjam Zilla Book Fair 2016 at church ground on Monday.
Sharing the dias with chief guest RCC Patnayak, MLA Berhampur and Alekh Choudhury who preside the meet. The experiences organising such fair is the good way of social service that faciltates sharing of knowledge, recalled the Chief guest RCC Patnayak.
The 10 days long book fair has installed 55 stalls with the participation of book publishers, educational institutions snd vsrious social organisations.
On the first day secretary Bhavani Panigrahy read out the annual ststement whereas vice president Krushna Ch. Das put the key note. Among others educationist Devi Pradad Sahu, Dr. Chandramani Swain, Sr. Advocate Gopal Satapathy and Narayan Mahankuda delibrated speeches for the audience calling to make odia a popular official language.
The week long event will have Cultural nights and intellactuals will share their excellence with others as counter parts in various different discussion tables marked and vote of thanks are out by Narayan Mahankuda, editor of cultural magazine the Paryatan Bharat.
