76 Odisha Civil Services Qualified Candidates Are Waiting Justice

Bhubaneswar: The negligence of the state government of Odisha has resulted mental, financial and physical stress to the 76 Odisha Civil Service qualified candidates, they have been struggling to get job since 2011. O.P.S.C had advertised for 494 posts against the vacancies.

After final round of examinations, final result was declared for 418 in 2016 and the result of rest 76 was kept pending. Several aspiring candidates came to Odisha Administrative Tribunal for justice and the verdict came in their favour in 2016.

However, the state government of Odisha argued in High Court but the court clearly gave the verdict in favour of the candidates and kept the order of the O.A.T and
directed to Odisha Public Service Commission to declare the list of remaining candidates. Unfortunately the appointment of pending 76 candidates has not been completed after five months of final result publication.

Meantime, the selected candidates have already been meeting many times to the Joint Secretary & Principal Secretary to Govt. General Administration department and Chief Secretary to Government of Odisha but the inaction of the government has resulted the mental, physical and financial harassment to the deserving qualified 76 candidates. The candidates have urged the state to immediately give them justice which is already delayed a lot.
