Paradip: The Independence Day is celebrated in India every year on 15th August to commemorate the Independence of our country and to honour the freedom fighters, armed forces and national heroes. IFFCO Paradip Unit has also celebrated the 73rd Independence Day on 15th Aug. 2019 with great enthusiasm, zeal and patriotic fervour in the Township.
On this occasion, the entire senior officials of IFFCO Paradip Unit, employees, Union and Association Members and residents of Township alongwith children, security personnel, IFFCO DAV School students have gathered and witnessed the grand ceremony and spectacular parade show. The Chief Guest-cum-Unit Head for this occasion Shri K J Patel of the Unit hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. In his speech, Sh. Patel encouraged each employee to work with dedication, safety and acknowledged their contribution towards growth of IFFCO. Sh. Patel has further informed that IFFCO believes in its commitments to the society at large as it is a Cooperative Society running to serve and help the farmers of the Country. Sh. Patel distributed prizes to all the winners.
At the end, Sh. A K Mall, DGM (P&A) deliberated Vote of Thanks. On this occasion, Sh. G C Acharya, DGM (HR) has organized the entire programme arrangements. Prasanna Kumar Beura, Administrative Officer has also witnessed the programme.
