Paradip: The 71st Independence Day was celebrated at IFFCO Paradip Unit on 15th Aug.2017. The Independence Day is being celebrated in India every year on 15th Augst to honour the country and it came into force on the same day in the year, 1947. Every year, IFFCO Paradip Unit celebrates Independence Day with great enthusiasm and zeal in the Township.
On this occasion, all senior officials, employees, Union & Association and residents of IFFCO Township along with children gathered to solute our national flag. Shri. A.K.Panda, Unit Head-cum-Sr. GM hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering and encouraged to each employees for the dedication and their contribution towards the growth of IFFCO. He informed that during this year itself, 2 CSR Awards, Road Safety Award, Viswamuskti Rashtriya Rajabhasa Samman, Kalinga Safety Award & Krushak Bandhu Award for best performance were conferred on IFFCO. He further informed that IFFCO believes in its commitments to the Society at large as it is a Cooperative Society meant to help the farmers of the country at large. IFFCO Paradip maintains its safety norms and there is achievement of ‘0’ accident during the last 5 years.
In the occasion, the security personnel of IFFCO Paradip Unit and the children of DAV Public School performed the parade and saluted the national flag.
At the end Dy. General Manager (P&A) Shri S.R.Maurya deliberated vote of thanks. On this occasion Sh K.J.Patel, General Manager, Sh Gyan Chand Acharya, Dy.General Manager(HR),Sh Prasanna Kumar Beura,PRO, Sh Tusar Ranjan Smantarya, President IFFCO Employee’s Union. Sh T.R.Puhan, General Secretary, IFFCO Employee’s Union , Sh Mangal Murty, President, IFFCO Officer’s Association & Sh S.Muralikrishna, General Secretary IFFCO Officer Association were present and witnessed the entire programme.
