Paradeep : The 70th Republic Day was enthusiastically celebrated at IFFCO Paradeep Unit on 26th Jan. 2019. During the occasion, the Chief Guest Shri. A K Panda, Sr. GM hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. Shri. Panda, during his speech, informed all the employees and their family members that during the Financial Year 2018-19, IFFCO has received Odisha INC CSR Awards, Kalinga Safety Award, Krushak Bandhu Award for best performance in the field of fertilizer sector. He further informed that IFFCO has been conferred with excellence in “Environmental Management” from Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) during the financial year.
He informed to all members present that IFFCO has achieved ‘0’ accident during last 6 years and he appealed to the employees and family members to maintain safety norms strictly at work place, at home and on road.
In the occasion, the security personnel of IFFCO Paradeep Unit and the children of DAV Public School performed the parade and saluted the national flag. They also performed colorful cultural programmes and audience appreciated the efforts put in by the School children and staff. To commemorate the occasion, awards were given to meritorious students of the School and employees of the Unit. Sh. G C Acharya, DGM (HR) nicely decorated the field.
On this occasion, senior officials of IFFCO and Sh Mangal Murty, President ,Sh Subashis Mishra, General Secreatray, IFFCO Officer’s Association, Sh Suvendu Majhi, President, Sh Trupti Ranjan Puhan,General Secretary,IFFCO Employee’s Union and Sh Prasanna Kumar Beura ,Public Relation Officer, were present and witnessed the programme. At the end, Shri. A K Mall, DGM (P&A) gave vote of thanks.
