Bhubaneswar: Four police personnel including the IIC & ASI of Saheed Nagar police station allegedly attacked while they were trying to control a group clash between some students & non-students .
The miscreants had gone to the Saheed Nagar PS to lodge a complaint but instead they started beating up the on-duty police personnel and also vandalised the station.
Police have detained 6 persons in connection with their involvement in the attack and trying to trace the absconding persons.
“All miscreants have been identified based on probe initiated after verifying CCTV footage. These kind of activities won’t be tolerated. Stringent action will be taken against all accused,” says Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty after attack on policemen in Bhubaneswar .
